News 3 in Las Vegas has aired a few stories discussing the safety and efficacy of LipoDissolve, a series of injections to treat spot fat deposits.
September 21, 2007, News 3 at Sunrise in Las Vegas has been investigating the popular cosmetic procedure LipoDissolve. Lipo Dissolve is a series of injections to dissolve spot fat pockets on a patient. News 3 in Las Vegas is raising concerns about the safety and efficacy of the procedure and specifically about “Advanced Lipodissolve” which is being offered at fig. in Las Vegas and in several other cities around the country. fig. also offers SmartLipo, a new alternative to liposuction which is increasing in popularity very quickly. Las Vegas Plastic Surgeon Michael Edwards, MD near Summerlin states that LipoDissolve is not FDA approved yet and that he is concerned about the safety of the drugs injected. Despite all the controversy, LipoDissolve is one of the most popular, non-surgical procedures performed in many Medical Spas nationwide.
