With over 35 years of experience at some of the finest medical centers in Europe and the United States, Dr. Vajtai is a foremost figure in the area of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. Dr. Vajtai brings an intimate knowledge of the relationship between circulation and varicose vein treatment to the Las Vegas valley.
His sole purpose for founding Veinity is to provide people with the means to achieve the healthy physique they deserve through the safe and painless elimination of varicose veins.
Dr. Peter G. Vajtai is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He has received numerous awards in his profession, and is a member of the Nevada State Medical Association, Clark County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Vajtai is a cardiovascular surgeon practicing in Las Vegas for 13 years. He has brought a rich and complex experience and education to this unique city.
He was born and raised in Hungary. At a young age, he became a heart surgeon, and took off on a long and exciting journey to pursue his passion to treat patients with heart, lung, and vascular disease. During these formative years, he visited many fine European medical schools including Hanover (Germany), Halle (then East Germany), and Rotterdam (The Netherlands). He married his medical school love, Eugenia, and they have two daughters, Petra and Zsoka.
In 1983, he first came to the United States to conduct clinical research in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1985, he and his family left their homeland to settle in the United States, their new home. He remained dedicated to his field and completed his additional training in General Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgery in Portland, Oregon and The Carolinas Heart Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina.
His interests have been focused on adult cardiac surgery, treatment of vascular diseases including coronary bypass and heart valve surgeries, and treatment of arterial occlusions and aneurysm repair. He has also gained an extensive experience with treatment of vein disorders.
LASER technology has been introduced for treatments of vascular disorders for many years. Dr. Vajtai has applied his extensive experience primarily in LASER application for comprehensive vein care. To further expand his practice into wider use of the most advanced LASER technology, he started VEINITY, a new treatment venture. In his newly built office, he offers LASER-assisted vein care, treatment of associated skin disorders, and LASER-assisted body contouring.
His vision for the future of VEINITY is to provide LASER treatments to enhance a general a general sense of health and well-being, supported by lifestyle and health care advice.
